Please note that at the time of manufacture, the mechanical and digital error range is ±0.2m³. If the discrepancy falls within the specified range, it is deemed to be within normal limits. Should the discrepancy exceed the aforementioned range, it may be attributable to human error in the reading of the data at the time of manufacture. In this instance, the mechanical reading can be rectified via the system or infrared, ensuring that the mechanical reading aligns with the data reading.
Subsequent water meters that were corrected showed a larger deviation after a defined period of use.
A: The electronic counting method exceeds the mechanical counting method.
1. The circuit board is faulty, resulting in the electronic component generating false pulses and consequently increasing the count.
2. Please inspect the reed switch for any signs of malfunction and use a multimeter to test its electrical functionality.
3. Please verify the position of the magnet, as it is typically fixed in place upon installation. If the installation position is incorrect, this will result in an increase in the electronic count.
Please note that the probability of a fault in the meter causing electronic counting to exceed mechanical counting is extremely low.
B: The mechanical count is greater than the electronic count.
