The CA168  is a multi-jet wet type, prepaid water meter.  The meter works with a low power  bistable latched valve driven by battery that is able to open and shut for 4 million times during battery lifetime.  CA168 series assure you of continuously good metrology and revenue protection at the same time.The electronic part of the meter is potted and sealed above on the metering chamber, away from the water, which makes the meter water proof and adaptable to humid and tropical environments.

A customer interface unit (CIU) will work with water meter, customer purchase 20 digits token code from the vendor and enter rechage via the keypad of CIU in home. It is kept away from the meter which prevent the meter from being tampered and damaged. Customer can check the meter's data credit status and historical usage data from the LCD of CIU
