DAWASCO has been piloting with prepaid water meter for quite years, but there still be no mass deployment of prepaid water meters, why ? There are many types of prepaid meter, IC card,  RFID token are most used. However these types rely much on physical contact for data transmission, which vastly reduce vending efficiency and vending is limited within office hours. 

Calin CA568 series STS approved keypad type prepaid water meter perfectly solve this vending limit issue. The meter shuts off on 0 credit and tamper. It is Class C accuracy and IP68 water proof protection, applicable in grit particle water and flooding environments.

A handy remote keypad CIU is equiped with the meter for customer to enter recharge 20 digits token codes and check usage data as well.  CIU is connected by wireless communication with the meter.

The meter is compatible with mobile payment or any other third party payment platforms. Customers can acquire recharge units code by sending SMS or USSD on their mobile phones 24/7 with no need to visit any physical vending point of sales.
