The CA368-C is built for commercial and industrial electricity dispensing applications.It is a new generation of prepaid electric meter that combines Class 1s metrology features along with 3DES security encryption.This provides increased security, whilst ensuring consumer convenience. In addition, the meters provide a wealth of features and functionality to effectively manage loads up to 100A per phase. It serves as a good revenue protection tool for service providers and utilities.
The meter is designed with a plug-in module of data transmission and communications .By using this modular design, a utility or a complex owner can select from PLC/RF/GPRS/3G and 4G LTE cellular data networks according to local conditions without need to add whatever functions they will not use. Also upgrade and maintenance will also become faster and cheaper cause what they need to is just replace and repaire the modules only instead of the entire meter.
