Automated Reading Commercial Electric Meter , Three Phase Electricity Meter
The CA368-DC is a three phase four wire BS footprint housing electric advanced commercial and industrial meter, which integrates core functionalities, such as powerful e-metering, multienergy data collection, remote and local communication and end user interaction. This innovative metering device has been developed as a core system component of the Calin’s smart metering solution to optimize daily utility processes.
The meter is capable of communicating with a back-end central station server through GSM / GPRS / Ethernet connectivity features provided for Automatic Reading on real time basis. It can be used in a broad range of commercial and inustrial environments. The meter is compliant with IEC standard for active and reactive energy measurement and its terminal block is provided for both direct connection and CT/VT transformer connection. There is a buld-in clock in the meter that countsas incrementing second index. This index is synchronized with the real time in the back-end central station server at programmed interval. This time synchronization is giving the utility utmost flexibility of tariff calculation and system management. This flexibiity futhermore enables the utility to apply different contractual control to each of the customer with no need to visit customer's premises to replace their meters from time to time.
The connectivity of GSM GPRS enables the utility and service providers to have a real-time monitoring and control on the load in the grid and improve their managing efficiency at peak hours. The CA368-DC records maximum demand and load profiling data at programmed intervals and provides valuable information P, V, A, PF for the utility and customer as well for them to budget their usage and manage the load.
