STS prepaid gas meter represents the latest evolution from STS prepaid electric meter technology by Calin. As the 47th registered STS association member, Calin has established itself as a leader in STS prepayment metering solutions in China. This meter is designed for use with natural gas, town gas, and liquefied petroleum gas applications.
The meter's exceptional quality and stability have been proven through millions of installations worldwide. The STS prepayment functionality enhances revenue protection by eliminating estimated billing, overdue payments, and tampering risks while providing immediate cash flow for service providers. Calin gas meters are currently deployed in Iraq, Pakistan, Indonesia, Mexico, Kenya, Tanzania, and numerous other regions.
A key innovation is the split installation design. The Customer Interface Unit (CIU) keypad can be installed separately within the customer's premises while the meter remains secured. The CIU enables balance checks, transaction history review, and most importantly, top-up functionality. Standard available sizes include G1.6, G2.5 and G4, with other sizes available upon request.
