Calin designs and produces prepaid electric meters which are cost-efficient and ideal for the use in solutions for AMR/AMI at residential as well as industrial applications.Calin's prepaid meters own anti-tamper features .The meter is built with multi sensors and triggers,including tamper shutdown protection ,disconnects on overload and no credit .

 

With an improved dynamic range allowing a basic current of 5 Amp while retaining a maximum current of 80 Amp and extended functional features,CA168 is well popular in the company . It is a compact and keypad-based design in a BS8565 standard housing and maintains the rugged RF immunity withstand of 30V/m and IP54 rating, allowing it to be installed in harsh environments.  

 

The CA168 combines IEC compliant accuracy metrology and DLMS/COSEM standard compatible communication technology. The meter adopts power line carrier of BPSK FSK  narrow band PLC communication for data exchange and automated meter reading. It offers utility users and service providers a sound data collection and revenue protection tool and a real-time monitoring system. 

  

This type of meter is Integrated Single -Phase Prepaid Electricity Meter provides an integrated solution for kWh measurement and prepayment.Credit data transfered from a point of sale (POS) or vending system is made into a numeric token in a 20 digit number using the Standard Transfer Specification (STS) encryption techniques, which comply with IEC62055 protocol .The token is entered into the meter via a keypad.
