The CA168-S is a splity Din Rail mounting designed prepayment meter . It is in an international 35mm Din Rail housing and keypad based with STS encryption.The meter is provided for a broad rang of prepayment applications,
The meter works in a dynamic broad range enabling a basic current of 5 Amp while keeping a maximum current of 80 Amp and expanded functional features.CA168 -S operates with a user interface unit as UIU, or in some countries, as customer interface unit (CIU). UIU or CIU is a keypad based display to be installed within consumers premise when the main meter, as, Metering and Control Unit, or MCU is installed out of the consumers' premises. This split design featuer provides utility users and service providers great convenience as well as value and enhanced revenue protection by inspecting and maintenancing meters without entering consumers' homes.
We as meter manufacturers, not only provide 35mm DIN RAIL,BS mounting , but also one of our most popular meter types. Both types connect to a CIU with a galvanically isolated communication cable and non-wired configuration as PLC, RF, MBUS are also available on request. Cable connection right now is the most reliable and stable communication however no-wired configuration adds more convenience and value to future operations.
