The CA368-G is a GSM / GPRS operated three phase four wire electric smart meter for light commercial and industrial metering applications. It supports state-of-art high profile real-time data collection as well as classic metering functions. The meter records four-quadrant load profile at preset intervals and operates in prepayment and post payment mode as per command from the head-end server station.
The meter is produced by ISO9001 standards and operates in very harsh outdoors and indoors environments , owing to its wide range ( Un -40% +20%) of voltage with RF immunity of 30V/m. The CA368-G series is also intended for measurement of both active and reactive energy. A 2400 bps baud rate optical port for data interogation is a standard spec of entire series..
The GSM / GPRS functions of CA368-G allows the meter to interact with the head-end server in a two-way communication via TCP/IP or vpn through local point-to-point GSM / GPRS networks. This setup is making installation and fitting simpler and faster. A utility or service provider can remotely read and collect metering data by setting scheduled task with head-end server station. Local information can be toggled up to show by punching in different codes..
