The CA168-G is Calin's latest non-wired solution of single phase prepaid meter for remote STS prepayment applications. It is a two wires', 80 Amp, keypad based prepayment meter complete in a compact BS5685  footprint mounting. The meter is designed for long-distance scattered low voltage large power consumers . 

 

 

The meter is manufactured according to ISO9001 standards and is provided with IP54 rated protective class, in a wide voltage range ( Un -40% +20%) and improved RF immunity of 30V/m, enablign it to be deployed in very harsh environments. The CA168-G series is also provided with options for  measurement of both active and reactive energy, and 2400 bps baud rate optical port for data extraction.

 

The GPRS function of CA168-G allows the meter to communicate with the head-end server via TCP/IP or vpn through point-to-point networks. Metering  grid supply parameters can be remotely read and collected into the head-end server automatically as scheduled task. The meter Information can be toggled by punch in different  codes of programmed combinations.. Users can retrieve metering related data from the display screen such as  present current and voltage, daily usage, monthly usage, balance, and last successfully entered tokens.
